Irmos: I cried with all my heart to the generous God, and heard me from hell, and raised my life from aphids.

Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.

We cry and like a child left behind from his mother’s breast, crying lamenting and sobbing: O Father, where are you, why don’t you feed us your children, who are hungry for your spiritual food?

Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.

When were your children obstinate, or your good-natured, when you forsook us, like a mother’s child, when the time came for solid food, saying: let us feed ourselves, remembering your goodness.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

My life is spent, my days are spent, my hopes are robbed for the sake of my sins, and I am perplexed: how should I answer about my affairs. But I pray, O Father, pray to God that the time will return to me to repentance.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

I bow down to many sins and am sick of them, I bow my soul and body to You, Lady, and I pray to You: Correct me.
