Yirmos: Iz plamené prpnbnym rosně istochil esì, / i pravédnagvo žežtvu vódoy popalil esì: / vsà bo tворiš chi, tokmòje khoteти, / tyà prевозносимъ vo vsà vèki.
Translation:
Yirmos: From the flames of the venerable incense thou hast been kindled, / and by the righteous sacrifice thou hast been consumed with water: / for thou dost create all things according to thy will, / and exalt us in all ages.

Heavenly One of the Circle not hath ceased, / and into Hell descended, all-raisings Thou hast wrought, / lifting up lying in filth the Man of Theotokos, / exalting Thee throughout all ages.

And let the kingdom be utterly destroyed,

O Soul/Spirit of Christ, Thou Unutterable Lover of Mankind, and the Ineffable Goodness! For I saw Thee fallen into the dark prison of hell, O Stranger to death; enduring passions, Thou didst deliver me. Wherefore we bless Thee, O Master, and exalt Thee for ever and ever.

Enrobed in glory as with a robe, as the King thy Theotokos hath enlightened thee with the dawn of her light, /

By Thy will, having united the world in peace,
Thou didst take up Thy holy Body,
Above this world to give it:

By counting the word to man, / God's holy dwelling was made manifest, / having poured forth in twofold light: / wherefore I sing thee for ever.

Golden-crowned sacred priest before the image,
Receiving unspeakable light inaccessible,
Illumining all created things with thy understanding.
Therefore we praise thee, to the ages.

O Soul/Spirit, now let us praise those holy monks in the cave,
Whose virgins of the Theotokos have received rapture.
Then do we behold the image:
Now, by their deeds, they raise up the whole universe to Thee;
Sing ye their works, and exalt Him for ever.

Therefore, let us sing the hymn of the Theotokos: My soul doth magnify the Lord: with the refrain: More to be desired than fine gold.
