Thrown into the deep abyss of sweets, I call upon the abyss of Thy compassion, Steward, save me.
Source of compassion, give me now tenderness and sighing, as if I would weep for my evil ones in the endless sea.

The time of my life is short and full of illnesses and wickedness, but in repentance, accept me and call me to reason, so that I will not be covetous, nor cruel to a stranger, O Savior, be generous to me.
