O Lord my God, upon Thee I have relied. Gloria. [Three times.] Save me from all those who persecute me and deliver me: lest the lion snatch away my soul, which is not saved nor delivered. O Lord my God, even though I have done this, even though there is unrighteousness in my hand, even though I have repaid to him who reproached me with a blessing, that I may fall no more into the hands of my enemies: lest my enemy seize my soul and overwhelm it, and let it enter the earth, and thrust my glory into the dust. Arise, O Lord, by Thy wrath, and rise up against the ends of Thine adversaries. And arise, O Lord my God, according to Thy commandment which Thou hast commanded me. Gloria. [Three times.] And a host shall be with Thee: and upon that host they shall turn back. He who judgeth among men, judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and my innocence in me. That the sin of the wicked may cease, and Thou shalt prove the heart and the reins, O Lord, in truth. Help me from God, the Saviour of the righteous by His heart. God the Judge is true, strong, long-suffering, not quick to wrath every day. Yea, if they will not turn back, let them purify their weapon, stretch their bow, and be ready; and in it let them prepare vessels of death, and arrows made with poison. All unrighteousness is conceived in sickness and born in lawlessness: a furrow shall be dug and shall be plowed, and it shall fall into the pit which he has digged. Let the sickness of him who is wicked come upon his head, and let unrighteousness come upon the top of his head. Confess to Thee, O Lord, according to Thy righteousness and by Thy name Thou Who art exalted above. Gloria. [Three times.]
