Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.

My mercy and my stronghold, my refuge, my deliverer, my protector; upon him I have put my hope; he who subdued my people under me.

г҃. Гдⷭ҇и, что̀ є҆́сть человѣ́къ, ꙗ҆́кѡ позна́лсѧ є҆сѝ є҆мꙋ̀; и҆лѝ сы́нъ человѣ́чь, ꙗ҆́кѡ вмѣнѧ́еши є҆гѡ̀;
Lord, what is man, that thou hast taken knowledge of him? or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?

Man is like vanity; his days pass as a shadow.

Bow down thy heavens, O Lord, and come down; let the mountains smoke beneath thee.

Flash forth the lightning, and let them be scattered; send out thy arrows, and confound them.

Send thy hand from on high; redeem me, and rescue me from many waters, out of the hand of foreign children.

Whose mouth uttereth vanity, and their right hand worketh iniquity.

I will sing to thee a new song, O God; with a ten-stringed harp will I make melody to thee.

‹. He that giveth salvation to kings, who delivereth David his servant from the evil sword.

Rid me and deliver me from the hand of alien children, whose mouths speak vanity, and their right hands are hands of deceit.

That our sons may be as plants sprung up in their youth; and our daughters adorned like cornerstones, hallowed as a temple.

That their granaries may be full, overflowing with this abundance; their flocks multiplying in their pastures, yielding thousands in their folds.

That their oxen may be robust for labor; there shall be neither breaking through the barriers nor going out; nor outcry in their streets.

Blessed is that people to whom this is so; yea, blessed is that people whose God is the Lord.

Glory to Thee, Lord.

I will exalt thee, O God, my King; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

To make known to the sons of men thy power and the glory of thy kingly greatness.

Thy kingdom, O Lord, is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth through all generations; faithful art thou in thy words, and holy in all thy works.

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing hymns to my God while I have breath.

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the sons of men, in whom is no salvation.
