Preserve me, Lord, as I have trusted in thee. Thee hast said, O Lord: Thou art my dwelling-place; for thou hast no desire for the things that are good of mine.

The holy ones, who are on earth, shall wonder at Thee, O Lord, for all Thy desires within them. They multiply their weakness, and by these they hasten: neither have they gathered together their assemblies from the bloods, nor remembered their names with my mouth.

Thou art the portion of mine inheritance and cup: Thou hast appointed me portions in Thee.

They assailed me in my strongholds: for my strength is a stronghold to me.

I bless thee, O Lord, who hast come to my help at once: yet also by night they chastised me with their torments.

I beheld Thee on the right hand of me; for Thou art at my right hand, that I may not be moved.

Therefore with my heart I rejoice and am glad: my tongue shall exult: even my flesh also shall rest in hope.

For thou hast not forsaken my soul in hell, but hast shown to thy venerated one the light.

Thou hast said to me: Thou shalt walk in the paths of life; thou wilt fill my face with joy: the beauty in Thy right hand will be unto the end.
