What should be understood in the Lord's Prayer under the name of temptation?
This is a combination of circumstances in which there is an imminent danger of losing faith or falling into serious sin.
Where do temptations come from?
From our flesh, from the world, or from other people, and from the devil.
What do we ask for in these words of prayer: do not lead us into temptation?
Firstly, that God should not allow us to be tempted; secondly, that He, if we need to be tested and purified through temptation, does not completely give us over to temptation and do not allow us to fall.
