Troparion of prophecy, voice 1:

Rise up those who have fallen, who have turned away from us to You, O God, as the Lover of Mankind, uphold the ends of the earth.

Glory, and now: and we repeat the same.

Troparion of prophecy, voice 1: Raise us fallen, turn us who have turned away to You, like the Lover of Mankind, God, Who holds in His power all the ends of the earth!

Glory, even now: and we repeat the same troparion

Prokeimenon (Psalm 33), tone 6: Seek the Lord, and hear me,/ and deliver me from all my sorrows.

Verse: I will bless the Lord always; I will put His praise in my mouth.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 33), tone 6: I thirsted for the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my troubles.

Verse: I will give praise to the Lord at any time, it will always be on my lips!

Reading the prophecies of Isaiah. [Isa.6:1-12]

In the summer, when Uzziah the king died, he saw the Lord sitting on the throne, high and exalted, and the house of His glory was filled. And the seraphim stood round about him, six kril to one, and six kril to the other: and two covered their faces, and two covered their feet, and two flew. And I cried to each other, and said: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts: fill the whole earth with his glory. And the door was taken from the voice of the cry, and the house was filled with smoke. And he said: O accursed I, for I am touched, for I am a man, and have unclean lips, in the midst of men who have unclean lips, I live: and the King of the Lord of Hosts I saw my eyes. And one was sent to me from the seraphim, and in his hand was a burning coal, which he took from the altar with tongs, and I touched my lips, and said: “Behold, I will touch this.” with your mouth, and he will take away your iniquity, and he will cleanse your sins. And I heard the voice of the Lord saying: whom will I send and who will go to this people; and said: Behold, I am, send me.

And he said: Go and speak to this people: by hearing you will hear, but you will not understand: and by seeing, you will see, and you will not see: For the heart of this people is hardened, and their ears are heavy. hearing, and closing their eyes: lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted and healed. And he said: How long, Lord? and the speech: until the city will be deserted, from being uninhabited, and the houses, from not being human, and the earth will remain empty. And therefore God will continue men, and those who remain on the earth will multiply.

Reading the prophecy of Isaiah [6:1–12]

It happened in the year of the death of King Uzziah: I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the house was full of His glory. And the seraphim stood around Him; The one had six wings and the other six wings: with two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. And they called to each other and said: “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts! The whole earth is full of His glory!” And the door ceiling rose at the sound of those shouting, and the house was filled with smoke. And I said: “Oh, I’m unhappy! I lament that I am a man, and my lips are not purified, and I live among the people with unclean lips, and with my eyes I have seen the King, the Lord of hosts! And one of the seraphim was sent to me, and in his hand he had a burning coal, which he took with tongs from the altar. And he touched my lips and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips and will take away your iniquities and cleanse your sins.” And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom will I send, and who will go to this people?” and I said, “Here am I, send me.” And He said: “Go and tell this people: You will listen with your ears and will not hear, and you will see with your eyes and will not see.

For the heart of this people was overgrown with fat, and they heard with difficulty with their ears, and closed their eyes, so that they would never see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor listen with their heart, nor turn, so that I would heal them.” And I said, “How long, Lord?” And He said: “Until the cities are desolate for lack of inhabitants, and the houses for lack of people, and the earth is completely desolate. And after this, God will remove people, and those remaining on earth will increase in number.”

Prokeimenon (Psalm 34), tone 6: Arise, O Lord, and attend to my judgment.

Verse: Judge, O Lord, those who offend me, overcome those who fight me.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 34), tone 6: Awake, O Lord, and turn to my toil!

Verse: Judge, O Lord, those who deal unjustly with me, fight those who come to war against me!
