O all-merciful Lady and Lady Theotokos! Raise us from the depths of sin, and deliver us from famine, destruction, from cowardice and flood, from fire and sword, from the invasion of foreigners and internecine warfare, from vain death, and from the attacks of the enemy, and from corrupting winds, and from deadly plagues, and from all evil.
