Troparion, tone 4

The mental stars, / shining on the firmament of the Churches, / the foundation of the Russian monks, / with songs, people, we will honor, / giving joyful praise with this: / Rejoice, blessed ones fathers, Anthony and Theodosius the God-wise, // always praying for those who follow and honor your memory.

Kontakion, tone 8

Having entrusted to God, most beloved from youth, the venerable one, / You followed with all your love; / Having counted the corruptible world for nothing, you made a cave into the earth thou art,/ and in it didst struggle well against the invisible enemy of the wiles,/ like a radiant sun shone to all the ends of the earth,/ from drowning, thou passedest rejoicing to the Heavenly Palace./ And Now with the Angels the Master stands before the Throne, / remember us who honor your memory, and let us call you: Hail, Anthony, our father.

Prayer 1st, St. Anthony of Pechersk

Oh, our good shepherd and mentor, the ever-remembered chief of the Russian monks, our reverend and God-bearing Father Anthony! You are a mountain in Heaven, we are below on earth, the being is removed from You not only by place, but by our sinful uncleanness; Remembering your fatherly love for people who are related to you, let us fall down and pray with tenderness and faith: help us, sinners, to be cleansed by repentance and to be worthy of pardon and forgiveness from our Lord and Creator. Beg His goodness to grant us great and rich mercies: fruitfulness of the earth, goodness of the air, deep peace, sincere brotherly love, unfeigned piety, worldly needs contentment, and let us not turn the good things given to us from His generous right hand into evil, but into the glory of His Holy Name and our salvation.

Keep, O miraculous saint, with your beneficial prayers the Russian cities, your monastery and the entire Orthodox Russian country unharmed from all evil, and all the people living in the monastery yours and those who come to worship, grant them your heavenly blessings, and in sorrows, misfortunes and illnesses, consolation, deliverance and healing, so that we gratefully praise, praise and We magnify the Lord who has glorified you, who through you has wonderfully benefited us, the Beginning Father, His Only Begotten Son and His Consubstantial Spirit, the Life-Giving and Indivisible Trinity, and your holy intercession forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 2, St. Theodosius of Pechersk

Oh, sacred head, earthly and human angel of heaven, our reverend and God-bearing father Theodosius, a noble servant of the Most Holy Theotokos, in Her holy name the monastery is most wonderful having built on the Pechersk mountains and shining with many miracles in it! We pray to you with zeal in many ways: pray for us to the Lord God and ask us from Him great and rich mercy: right faith, undoubted hope of salvation, love for everyone unhypocritical, unshakable piety, health of soul and body, contentment with the needs of life, and let us not turn the good things given to us from His generous right hand into evil, but into the glory of His holy Name and for our salvation. Save, O saint of God, through the intercession of your saints, our country, the Orthodox Russian Church, your city and your Lavra unharmed from all evil, and all the people who flock to worship the honest to your tomb and those who remain in your holy monastery, mercifully deliver the autumn with your heavenly blessing and from all evils and troubles.

Most of all, at the hour of our death, show us your many-powerful protection: may we, through your prayers to the Lord, be delivered from the power of the fierce ruler of the world and be able to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Show us, Father, your kindness and do not leave us, the orphaned and helpless, so that we may glorify the wondrous God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and your holy intercession, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 3, St. Anthony and Theodosius of Pechersk

Our reverend and God-bearing fathers Anthony and Theodosius! To you, as to a warm intercessor and a quick helper and a well-known representative, we sinners come running, humbly asking for your help and intercession, in the abyss of evil and distress, even for us every day and hour and from wicked men they come, and from the spirits of wickedness in high places, they always come upon us for the destruction of the souls and bodies of those who seek us.

You know without a doubt, since there is great boldness towards the merciful God: even more, on earth among those wandering to the High Fatherland abiding, the great power of the grace of God is with you miracle-working, showing in itself, like fire from Heaven, in the likeness of Elijah, to show the place on which the great Pechersk Church was built, although it came down, and dew, in the image Gideon, for the purification and eternal glorification of the same holy place, we call: so we, since there are many husbands and wives, from different countries and peoples, mourning and attacked or suffering from various serious illnesses, through your prayers and intercession I received quick relief and deliverance. Even if all that help, while still in mortal wandering, was mercifully given to the needy, how much more so today, when the almighty presence of the Trinity has already been presented and greater acceptance of boldness, in to pray for our unworthiness and to intercede and protect us in troubles.

For this reason, we, with so many hostile slander, embittered and insidious plots from everywhere, threaten and oppress, your warm and strong according to God, we entrust ourselves to the protection and We earnestly pray for your goodness: keep us intact from all troubles and evils, especially from the demonic wiles, so that we will not be a reproach and a mockery for them, but with your strong help wed them away from us, Like in those days I drove away from the monastery those who sometimes did dirty tricks. Their useless sizzle has tamed the rebellion against us, so make us established in faith, hope and love, so that no bewilderment or doubt prevails over us. Keep and supply our feelings, both spiritual and physical, in such well-being and more divine proportions every day and hour, so that we never anger the Good and Humane-loving God. Keep your mind chaste, so that this one thinks more about God, His omnipresence and good providence, rather than worrying about temporary things.

Always correct our corrupted will, so that no one wants it, even if it resists the will of God, but let it be grasped and remain in them serenely and sadly, even if the essence is pleasing and pleasing to God, for a person it is saving and useful. In addition, do not forget about your venerability, fathers, and your fatherland, but in a peaceful dispensation, constantly intercede for him at the Throne of the Majesty of God. Keep all the people who exist in our country peaceful and carefree and will soon deliver you from every evil situation.

When our departure from this temporary life and migration to eternity has arrived, come to our aid and free us from the violence of the enemy, just as you once stood before Erasmus the monk, in grave mortal distress, move our hearts to true repentance and regret for sins, just as we moved our hearts to true repentance, so that we too may have a clear conscience testimony, the Most Holy and Indivisible Trinity, we glorify it together with you and all the saints to the endless ages of ages. Amen.
