Who can please you, O Most Holy Virgin? What lips can sing Your greatness, which surpasses all meaning? All the glorious sacraments performed by You, Mother of God, are beyond meaning and words. The Cherubim were amazed at the beauty of Your virginity and Your brighter purity and the Seraphim were horrified: neither human nor angelic tongue can utter the miracle of Your birth. From You, the flightless and Only Begotten Son of God, God the Word, was indescribably incarnated, born and lived with man, and You, as Your Mother, greatly magnified, the Queen of all creatures, a haven known to us for salvation. In the same way, all who come under Your roof, overcome by various sorrows and illnesses, receive rich consolation and healing and are saved from troubles by You: For You are truly the Mother of all who mourn and are burdened, the sad joy, the sick Healer, the Guardian of the young, the rod of old age, the praise of the righteous, the hope of salvation for sinners and the Guide to repentance: for all are always through Your intercession You help, and you intercede with faith and love for everyone who comes running to You.

Help me too, desperate for my deeds. O zealous intercessor of the Christian race, intercede for me, so that I do not completely perish in sins, for I have no other refuge and protection than You, the Lady of the Mother of the Life: do not forsake me and do not despise me, but, in the image of Yourself, save me, for You are blessed forever and ever.
