O Most Holy Lady Lady Theotokos! With faith and love, falling before Thy miraculous and multi-healing icon, which Thou hast bestowed a wondrous victory against Thy city's resistance, we pray to Thee: just as in ancient times Thou hast hastened our Father to help us, so grant us, weak and sinful, Thy maternal dullness. Do not turn Your face away from those who come to You: pray, most merciful Mother, Your Son and our God, may He preserve our blessed sovereign Nikolai Alexandrovich under His roof, may He establish peace, silence and piety in His dominion, May He preserve His holy, unshakable Church, and may He deliver from unbelief, heresies and schism. There are no imams of any other help, no imams of other intercession, except for You, Most Holy Virgin. Likewise, save Your city and the entire Orthodox country and all of us from famine, destruction, cowardice, flood, fire, internecine warfare, from the corrupting wind and from deadly plagues: grant us the blessing of the air and the fruitfulness of the earth.
Save and have mercy, O Lady, in every misfortune and need that exists: comfort the afflicted, strengthen the faint-hearted, heal those suffering from various ailments, free those who are cold from unclean spirits, deliver the offended from offense. Remember Thy servants and do not despise our tears and sighs. Have mercy, O Lady, on Your weak people: gather the scattered, guide the erring on the right path, support old age, give chastity to the young. Save and protect us, O Lady, from all the snares of the evil one and from all the slander of the enemy: strengthen our weak will to do the commandments of God, soften the hardness of our hearts, grant us the spirit of contrition, humility of heart, purity of thoughts and correction of sinful lives, so that having been cleansed from sinful defilement, we will be rewarded with peace Christian death and a good answer at the Last Judgment of Your Son. Hey, All-Merciful Lady!
And in the terrible hour of death, show us Your powerful intercession, then hasten to help us who are helpless and with Your sovereign hand snatch us from the power of the cruel world ruler: those who have ceased in piety from this life, make our fathers and brothers live in eternal life with the Angels and with all the saints. For you are, Lady, the glory of heaven and the hope of earth, you, according to God, are our hope and the Intercessor of all those who flow to you and ask for your holy help. Moreover, we look reverently at Your wondrous image, and before it, as if You were more alive, we fall with tenderness and surrender to You all our lives according to Christ God, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
