O my Most Holy Lady Theotokos, most honorable of Angels and Archangels, Cherubim and Seraphim, and most holy of all saints, Virgin Mother of God! Save me, Thy humble and sinful servant: Thou knowest, O All-Merciful Lady, for I place all my hope in God in Thee, and I have no other saving refuge except You, O All-Merciful One. You are my fortress, Lady, You are my strength, You are my joy in sorrows, You are my refuge in temptation, You are my correction in the fall, You are my all-reliable salvation, O Mother of the Creator and my Lord! Help me to him who is floating in the abyss of this life, who is fiercely overwhelmed and in misery from the drowning of sin. Give me a helping hand, my Helper, and deliver me from the darkness of the depths, so that I do not wallow in the abyss of despair: for a storm of sins and passions rises up on me, and the waves of iniquities drown me. But You, Merciful Mother, in the haven of dispassion, guide and save me, the hopeless Hope and Intercessor of my salvation.
