From my unclean lips, accept prayer, O Undefiled, Pure and Most Pure Virgin Mary! And do not disdain my words, O my Joy! But look upon me and have mercy on me, O Mother of my Creator! During my life, do not leave me: know, O Lady, for I place all my hope in you, and all my hope is in You. Likewise, at the time of my death, stand before me, my Helper, my joy and consolation: do not leave me then, my Hope, and do not disgrace me then. We know, we know, Virgin, that I am guilty of many sins, the accursed one, and I tremble, thinking about this hour: but, my Joy, show me Thy face, surprise me with Thy mercy, Intercessor of my salvation, take me, O Lady, from the cruelty of demons and the terrible and formidable test of air spirits, and from deliver them from their malice, and turn all the sorrow of that day into joy through Your visit, and grant me the privilege of passing comfortably from the beginnings and powers of darkness and reaching to worship on the throne of glory the seated Christ and our God, with His Originless Father and the Most Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
