O Most Holy Virgin, Lady Theotokos! I thank You with all my heart, for You have vouchsafed me, Your sinful and unworthy servant, to appear here and worship on Your holy mountain. Oh, how many blessings have I, such a great sinner, been rewarded with Your mercy! I see, O Most Pure One, and am horrified, and my spirit melts away, always seeing with my own eyes this multi-healing source of Thy grace, which Thou hast ineffably revealed since ancient times in the footsteps of Thy holy foot.
And reverently bowing in the place where Thy feet stand, I pray to Thee, Blessed Hope and salvation of our souls and bodies: wash me with Thy wholesome water from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, quench with Thy blessed streams all the passions of my heart, heal all ailments with drops from Thy ever-flowing source my body, that by You we may instruct, heal and deliver, I sing to You with all diligence: Rejoice, Source of unceasing joy and unspeakable kindness: Rejoice, drowning of unclean lusts: Rejoice, washing away of all kinds of defilements: Rejoice, Most Light-seeing Stream, for the health of the faithful from the mountain the overshadowed thickets granting the grace of healing: Rejoice, Heavenly Dew, from above sending down currents of wisdom to those thirsting for true knowledge: Rejoice, Praise of Pochaev: save us who pray to You, our Hope and consolation.
