Lord our God, who created the creation with a single word and brought into being, this variously adorned images ineffable, who brought Your Spirit gathered over her and poured out this solar light on her to renew her: who inspired your saint Moses with some kind of praise, add a fair amount of praise to your kindest creation, and decide to see the light of you as good, and call this day: for we also see it, and this brightest sun, renewing creation every day, We glorify Thee on the true day, the Sun, and Thy unevening light: Who by Thy Son commanded us to renew our nature by Thy Holy Spirit, for by this righteous gift to shine like the sun! We pray to You and ask You, the Father of the Word, our Lord and God: look with your merciful eye upon us, Your sinful and unworthy servants, who dwell in this heavenly house, the universe of praise, the true altar of Your ineffable glory, and send down Your Most Holy Spirit on us and on Your inheritance.

And according to the divine David, renew the right Spirit in our hearts and strengthen us with the Master’s Spirit: and grant to our most pious, autocratic, great sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich of all Russia, victorious and victories against visible and invisible enemies: but grant us unanimity and peace. To those who have created this building and the consecration of the church, out of love for You, God carefully, grant forgiveness of sins: grant them the same petitions for salvation: raise me up to do Your commandments: grant them renewal of the gift of Your Holy Spirit: so that without condemnation they will worship You, the One True God, and Whom You sent, Jesus Christ, through the prayers of the Theotokos, [and whose church is] and of all Thy saints.
