O blessed and ever-memorable Our Father Cassian, Divine Angels cohabitant, bearing the daily burden, living in poverty, enriched with Divine gifts! You, now standing from the holy cathedrals, rejoicing from the righteous faces, remember us, praising your virtuous life, and do not leave us helpless. Look at our life, shaken by the worries of life, so that the sinful storm does not drown us, and let the depths below devour us. See, holy one, how our soul has been humbled to dust, and the enemy who hates us has been brought to joy by the wicked ones who kill all the day long: for we are truly lost, like sheep without a shepherd.
Moreover, through your favorable prayers, the only God who loves mankind has mercifully created for us, so that He will not reward us for our evil deeds and the impurity of our hearts, but may His goodness precede us, and in peace, unanimity and May our life be established in piety. We, O blessed one, trust in you according to God, we boast in you, we call on your holy name for help, and we fall to your miraculous image of the unworthy, we pray to you: pray, our Father Cassian, Christ God, that we may be delivered from the evil ones ours, with you, we will be worthy of eternal blessings, by the grace and bounty of our Lord Jesus Christ, blessed being with His Beginning Father and the Most Holy Spirit forever and ever.
