O blessed and venerable Father Philip, faithful servant of the Holy Trinity, desert dweller, equal to the holy Angels, merciful miracle worker! Hear us praying to you today, and do not reject those who fall at your tomb from your help. We know that although your most honorable body and the bowels of the earth have been hidden, your godly and pure soul boldly stands at the throne of the Lady from the faces of the saints. Just as in your life you gave a helping hand to many, blessed one, so now give us your help from above, reverend father, and be a helper to everyone: be a steward in the sea, a quick intercessor in troubles for those who suffer, those who are sick and sick, those who are sad and sorrowful Comforter and deliverer, and help to the helpless: save us too, your children, from the temptations of the evil one and from all evil that ever comes upon us. O our warm intercessor and representative, blessed Philip! Do not forget your inheritance in the end, below the destruction of the covenant, which you promised to us as your servant, and after your death to visit us.
Even if we have lacked faith and sinned before God, you are also our father and mentor, and intercessor for our salvation. For this reason, we fall down to your grave and pray: grant us grace in times of need and eternal salvation, so that together with you we may glorify the most honorable and magnificent name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
