God, the One who is rich in mercy and inexhaustible in his bounty is Pucino! We sinned before Your Majesty, the lawless, the dishonest, following our evil thoughts, we walked: we neglected Your saving commandments, and reproached Your Beloved: we all turned away together, and all the indecency happened. By the same token, Thy generosity and Thy love for mankind and the wombs of the mercy of our God are for our malice, with those who have died, and we, as if we are not worthy of pardon. But also, Lord, have mercy on us, look upon our weakness, cover the abyss of our evils with the immeasurable breadth of Thy mercy: grant us, O Master, that from now on we may turn to You, instruct us in Thy truth, and correct our hearts to do Thy commandments, through the prayers of the Venerable Martyr Macarius, and for his prayers, make us heirs of the Kingdom Yours forever and ever.
