Receivest, all-honorable, receiving the precious gift, O Mistress Theotokos, with thine own pure gifts, from us unworthy servants of thine, from all chosen peoples and from every heavenly and earthly creature thou hast exalted thyself above all. For thou, by thy power with us, didst make known to us the Light of God, and through thee we have partaken of His Body and Precious Blood. Therefore blessed art thou in the generations of the ages, O most glorious among the Cherubim and Seraphim, shining more brightly than they. And now, O all-hymned Theotokos, do not cease to pray for us thy unworthy servants, that we may be delivered from every counsel of the crafty one and from every opposition, and preserved unharmed from every deceitful device of the devil. But even unto the end, keep us unsullied by thine intercessions: for through thy protection and help, we offer thee glory, praise, thanksgiving, and adoration for all things in the Trinity, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Holy Angel, my Guardian, pray for me to God.

Mlětvá ko ággelú khraníteli:

Hallowed Theotokos, to thee I do fervently pray, guardian of mine, given unto me for the keeping of my soul and body from the stain of original sin. For by my own slothfulness and my own tongue, I have provoked thy precious light with my customary anger; and I have offended thee in all my works: lies, slanders, envy, accusations, contempt, disobedience, hatred of brethren, forgetfulness, greediness, drunkenness, gluttony, much speaking, evil thoughts, crafty habits, prideful custom, and wanton indulgence. I have made my own self-will the master over every carnal desire! As a mindless beast, it does not do such things!

O Hallowed Theotokos, look upon me with thine eyes, as though thou didst weave me in filthiness; for by these very works, O Hallowed Theotokos, behold me, entwining myself in the mire of deeds. But may I be able to beseech thee, guardian of mine, hallowed one, to have mercy on my sinful and unworthy servant [and disciple], be thou my helper and protector against the adversary who fights against me with thy holy prayers and the offering of thine body. Let me partake of thy kingdom, together with all the saints, always, now, and forevermore. Amen.
