Receive, all-holy Theotokos, the gifts offered by Thy handmaid, O Lady, and accept these most holy gifts from Thy unworthy servants, from all chosen peoples, from all heavenly and earthly creatures. For Thou hast given us strength with Thee, and through Thee we have known God, and have partaken of His Holy Body and Precious Blood. Therefore, more blessed art thou in the generations of women, O Ever-Blessed One, brighter than cherubim and more glorious beyond measure than seraphim. Now, O All-Praised Theotokos, do not cease to pray for Thy unworthy servants, that we may be delivered from every counsel of the wicked one and preserved whole and blameless from all the devices of the evil spirit. But continue to keep us unharmed by thy prayers: For with Thy help and assistance we are saved. To Thee, together with Thy Son and Holy Spirit, be glory now and ever and for ever. Amen.
Holy Angel, my Guardian, pray for me to God.
Mercy to the guardian angel!
O Holy Theotokos, to thee I flee in my distress; O Guardian of mine, given to me for the keeping of my soul and body from the stain of original sin through Baptism. For by my own slothfulness and my own tongue, I have offended thy precious light, and by all my sinful deeds: lies, slanders, envy, accusations, contempt, disobedience, hatred of brethren, and forgetfulness; greed for money, adultery, pride, avarice, drunkenness, overeating without satiety, much speaking, evil thoughts, crafty practices, haughty habit, and lustful indulgence, I have made my own will to be the desire of every earthly thing. Even as a mindless beast does not do according to its own will! Yet mayst thou, O Holy Angel, look upon me with thine eyes, even though I am foul-smelling; for with thy merciful eyes, O Holy Theotokos, look upon me, entwining me in the snare of my sinful deeds; that by thy bitter and evil works, in which I fall every day and night, and at every hour, thou mayest forgive me. And I pray to thee, O Guardian of mine, holy and unworthy servant of thine [and mine], be my helper and intercessor against the adversary, through thy holy prayers and the sacrifice of thy Son, make me partake in the glory of thy Son, with all the saints, always, now, and for ever. Amen.
