Receive, all-holy Theotokos, preceptress of God, the gifts Thou hast deigned to bestow upon Thy unworthy servants, from all peoples and chosen ones, both heavenly and earthly, exalted above them. For Thou hast given us strength with Thee, and by Thee we have known the glory of God, and have partaken of His holy body and precious blood. Therefore blessed art Thou in the generations of women, O most blessed among the Cherubim and Seraphim, shining more brightly than they. And now, O all-praised Theotokos, do not cease to pray for Thy unworthy servants, that we may be delivered from every counsel of the deceitful and from every adversity, and preserved unharmed from every evil temptation of the devil. But even unto the end, keep us under Thy unsullied prayers: for by Thy intercession and help, we offer Thee glory, praise, thanksgiving, and worship in one God and all Creator, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Glory to Thee, O Lady Theotokos! Higher than all the angels and archangels, mightier than all created things, Thou art the Helper of the faithful, the Hope of those without hope, the Advocate of the righteous, the Comforter of the sorrowful, the Sustainer of the hungry, the Cloak of the naked, the Healer of the sick, the Deliverer of sinners, the Helper and Protector of all. Through Thee, O Lady Theotokos, we venerate Thee as God’s Second Person! By Thy mercy, forgive us, O most venerable Patriarchs of the Orthodox Church, archbishops, bishops, and all clergy, and all Orthodox Christians, by Thy garment intercede for us: that through Thee, O Lady Theotokos, Thou mayest cause to be incarnate God our Lord Jesus Christ without seed, that He might bestow upon us His power from above against invisible and visible enemies. Through Thee, O Lady Theotokos, raise us out of the depths of sin, deliver us from hunger, destruction, fear, flood, fire, sword, encounter with strangers and mutual strife, from vain death, from attack by enemies, from destructive winds, from deadly stars, and from every evil. Grant peace and health to Thy servants, all Orthodox Christians, enlighten them in heart: that they may be saved. And make us, O sinful servants of Thee, worthy to see again the glory of Thine own Son Jesus Christ: as His kingdom is blessed and glorified with His Father, from before the ages, and on the throne, and in righteousness, and in life-giving house, now and forever.
