O Lord our God, who have sinned today in word, deed, and thought, forgive us as Thou art gracious and lover of mankind. Give me a tranquil sleep and a mind without anxiety, through Thy angel who keeps me by night, covering and guarding me from every evil: for Thou art the guardian of souls and bodies of ours, and to Thee we send glory, Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Гдⷭ҇и, да́ждь мѝ смире́нїе, цѣломꙋ́дрїе и҆ послꙋша́нїе. Гдⷭ҇и, да́ждь мѝ терпѣ́нїе, великодꙋ́шїе и҆ кро́тость. Гдⷭ҇и, вселѝ въ мѧ̀ ко́рень бл҃ги́хъ, стра́хъ тво́й въ се́рдце моѐ. Гдⷭ҇и, сподо́би мѧ̀ люби́ти тѧ̀ ѿ всеѧ̀ дꙋшѝ моеѧ̀ и҆ помышле́нїѧ, и҆ твори́ти во все́мъ во́лю твою̀. Гдⷭ҇и, покры́й мѧ̀ ѿ человѣ̑къ нѣ́которыхъ, и҆ бѣсѡ́въ, и҆ страсте́й, и҆ ѿ всѧ́кїѧ и҆ны́ѧ неподо́бныѧ ве́щи. Гдⷭ҇и, вѣ́си, ꙗ҆́кѡ твори́ши, ꙗ҆́коже ты̀ во́лиши, да бꙋ́детъ во́лѧ твоѧ̀ и҆ во мнѣ̀ грѣ́шнѣмъ: ꙗ҆́кѡ бл҃гослове́нъ є҆сѝ во вѣ́ки. Ґми́нь.
Lord, do not forsake me in my heavenly joys. Lord, deliver me from eternal torments. Lord, by thought and word, by deed, I have sinned; forgive me. Lord, deliver me from all unknown, forgotten, foolish, and hardened sins. Lord, deliver me from every temptation. Lord, enlighten my heart, which is darkened by the deceitful lusts of the flesh. Lord, as a man I have sinned, but Thou, being God, be merciful to me, seeing the weakness of my soul. Lord, send Thy mercy in help for me, that I may glorify Thee with it. O holy Theotokos, write me, Thy servant, in the book of life, and grant me a good end. My Lady, though I have done nothing good before Thee, yet by Thy grace, let me begin to do good. Lord, pour Thy grace upon my heart. Lord, all earth and heaven, remember me, the sinful servant, the learner and unclean, in Thy holy presence. Amen. In penitence receive me. Lord, do not forsake me. Lord, do not lead me into temptation. Lord, give me a good thought. Lord, give me tears, and a mortal memory, and compunction. Lord, give me a mind of confession of my sins. Lord, give me humility, patience, and gentleness. Lord, implant in me the root of goodness, Thy fear in my heart. Lord, enable me to love Thee from all parts of my soul and thoughts, and to do Thy will in everything. Lord, cover me from men some, and demons, and passions, and every unseemly thing. Lord, as Thou dost create, as Thou wilt, let Thy will be done in me the sinner: for blessed art Thou for ever. Amen.
