Most merciful Lady Theotokos, by Thy holy and all-powerful prayers, forgive me, Thy servant, my humility, forgetfulness, unreasonableness, lack of zeal, and every foul thought, from the depths of my heart, and from the darkness within me. And quench the flame of my passions, for I am poor and have been humbled: and deliver me from many and fierce memories, and from all evil deeds, freeing me from their influence.
For Thou art blessed by all generations, and Thy holy name is praised exceedingly for ever and ever. Amen. O most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, thou who dost bear the uncreated Word of God, we magnify Thee.
