On the Sabbath evening, at the Little Evening, to the Lord I cried out, stichera are sung.

By Thy mercy, O Christ, Thou hast destroyed the power of death and made the devil's delusion a jest: and the human race, saved by faith, ever brings Thee hymns of praise.

Thou art enlightened by Thy Resurrection, O Lord, and the heavens are thrown open again: all thy creatures praising Thee, make their song always to Thee.

Glory be to Thee, O Lord, and to Thy Christ, and to the Holy Spirit, the Uncreated Power, the Undivided Godhead, the One-Sustaining, Reigning for ever and ever.

Glory, and honour, now, O Theotokos, Dogmatik. Voice:

Miracle brought forth: two who gave birth, and the born of God before the ages, presented in birth, and perfected more than nature. O terrible mystery! Where that which is conceivable remains inconceivable, and that which is visible cannot be comprehended. Blessed art thou, pure Virgin Maiden, Adam's earthly daughter, and the exalted Lady of the heavens: pray for us, that our souls may be saved.

O Venerable Ship That the Wise Prophet Readeth, Bearing Tables Written by God, Our Lawgiver and Creator: To Him we pray that our souls may be saved.

In thy land, O Heaven, Thou didst show, wherein in the morning of thy womb didst Thou receive the Word of God, Body taking, whereby by invisible nature immortality is given: and Thou didst send down upon all the incorruptible dew unquenchable.

With thy prayers we are strengthened, O Mother of God, for by them we are ever and from the storms of temptations and adversities preserved: therefore, unceasingly we beseech thee to intercede for us that our souls may be delivered.

Glory, and honour, now to the Theotokos. Voice:

Rejoice, having been given life a second time by Thy womb, O wondrous creation of the human nature's second birth, mingled in Thy womb, Creator of our very being, and Raising us from hell and death, and giving unto us eternal life, whereby to cry to Thee evermore: Rejoice, Thou who hast united the depths with heaven. Rejoice, O Hope of all ends of the earth, and Intercessor. Rejoice, where by Thy Resurrection Thou didst enlighten all creation, and bestowest upon us great mercy.
