O unsearchable understanding, reason it out for those who seek in twain, cry to the ministering ones: "From the pure mouth, as it is, let there come mightily; to her unto whom He spake with fear, thus thou hast called her:"
Rejoice, for thou hast received a counsel ineffable and mystery thereof hidden.
Rejoice, O silent suppliants in faith.
Rejoice, beginning of wonders of Christ:
Rejoice, O Command of the Most High.
Rejoice, ladder heavenly, by which God descended:
Rejoice, O Maiden, leading the beings from earth to heaven.
Rejoice, O much-tongued wonder of the angels:
Rejoice, O many-tearful Struggle of the Devils.
