Many wonders have we seen, O Theotokos, as fishes without voices make visible to us Thy glory: they marvel not to speak, even though Thou dwellest both within and without, and hast brought forth life; but we, beholding the mysteries, verily cry out:
Rejoice, O Temple of the Most Pure Lady:
Rejoice, O thoughtful one, in His hidden treasure.
Rejoice, ye foolish ones, that are making your heart drunken.
Rejoice, O subtle in speech and yet without speech, accusing openly:
Rejoice, for the Strugglers after Venom have prevailed:
Rejoice, because the creators of fables have declared thee.
Rejoice, O net of the fisherman that rendeth asunder:
Rejoice, O nets of the fishers fulfilled.
Rejoicing, drawn forth from the depths of hidden things:
Rejoice, many who enlighten in much understanding.
Rejoice, O ship of those longing to be saved:
Rejoice, O refuge of life's voyages.
Rejoice, thou that art not yet wedded.
