Hearken, O pastors and angels singing, the fleshly advent of Christ, and behold, toward the pastor, they see an unblemished lamb, in its belly giving suck, which singeth thus:
Rejoice, O Lamb and Shepherd of God:
Rejoice, over the gates of the heavens opened.
Rejoice, for the heavenly ones also rejoice with thee:
Rejoice, for the earth travaileth with strangers.
Rejoice, O Unceasing Mouth of the Apostle:
Rejoice, firm establishment of faith:
Rejoice, O light of the knowledge of divine grace.
Rejoice, O Thou whose Breast is Uncovered:
Rejoice, O Thou clothed with glory.
Rejoice, thou that art not yet wedded.
