Hath heard the pastors and angels singing of the fleshly advent, and thereafter, beholding toward the pastor, they saw this as an unblemished lamb, in the womb nourishing, who singeth thus:
Rejoice, O Lamb and Shepherd of God:
Rejoice, O dwelling of eloquent speakers.
Rejoice, O suffering of invisible enemies:
Rejoice, over the opening of the heavenly doors.
Rejoice, for the heavenly ones also rejoice with thee:
Rejoice, for the earth travaileth in travail with heavenly mercy.
Rejoice, O Unceasingly Speaking Lips:
Rejoice, O Imperishable Boldness of the Passion-Bearers.
Rejoice, firm establishment of faith:
Rejoice, O light of the knowledge of divine grace.
Rejoice, O Thou whose Breast is Uncovered:
Rejoice, O thou adorned with the glory.
Rejoice, O Bridegroom without a Bride.
