Angel of the Creator, and Thou who art full of power, vouchsafe to me, O unlearned one and tongue-tied, to extol Thy holy name, as Thou didst open the ears and tongues of the deaf and dumb ancient tree, and spakest with them saying:
O Wonderworking Savior, Angel of Amazement:
O Saviour, Deliverer of the Forefathers.
O Sweet Jesus, Fatherarchs' exaltation:
O Soul glorious, O King enthroned.
O Beloved of the Lord, fulfillment of His will:
O Soul-praising, strong Fortress, Jesus Most Wondrous.
Jesus hath ceased, O monks, your rejoicing:
O Sweet Jesus, most pleasant in sweetness.
O Saviour, accept the fast of the penitents:
O Soul/Spirit sweet, of the Venerables joy.
O Saviour, Princely of purity, all-holy:
O Everlasting Jesus, Savior of sinners.
Jesus Christ, have mercy upon me.
