Angel of the Creator, and Thou who art full of power, vouchsafe to me, O unlearned one and tongue-tied, to extol Thy name with praise, even as Thou didst open the ears and tongues of the deaf and dumb ancient tree, and spakest saying:
Ô divin Seigneur, admiratif ange :
O Saviour, Deliverer of the forefathers.
Oui, doux Patriarches, vos magnificences :
O Soul glorious, O King of those enthralled.
O Beloved of the Lord, fulfillment of His will:
Oui admirable, défenseur invincible.
Iesu Christe, quietus estis, monachów radosti:
O Soul sweet, O Most Sweetest, most pleasant.
Ô Seigneur, précepte de jeûne :
O Soul/Spirit sweet, of the Venerables joy.
O Saviour, most pure Virgin-mother:
O Soul of Jesus Christ, save sinners.
Iesu Christe, Sine me, have mercy on me.
