O Creator of angels, and Thou who art full of power, vouchsafe to me, O unlearned one and tongue-tied, to extol Thy holy name with praise, as Thou didst open the ears and tongues of the deaf and dumb anciently, and spakest thus:
O Wonderworking Jesus, Angel of Delusion:
O Saviour, Deliverer of the Forefathers.
O Sweet Jesus, Patriarchs' great joy:
O Soul glorious, O King enthroned.
O Beloved of the Lord, fulfillment of His will:
O Thou Most Wonderful, Defender of the Martyrs.
Jesus hath prevailed, O monks, with joy:
O Sweet Jesus, most pleasant in sweetness.
O Saviour, accept the fast of the penitents.
O Sweet Joy of Jesus Christ, Venerable Gladness.
O Saviour, Princely in purity, Virgin-majesty:
O Everlasting Jesus, Savior of sinners.
Jesus Christ, have mercy upon me.
