With the Holy Rest of Jesus Christ may the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine], where there is no sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life eternal. Joces: Thou art alone, O Immortal, having created and made man, earthly from earth didst thou create us, and into earth we shall go again, as thou didst command when thou saidst to me: As earth thou art, so shalt thou return; but all men may not go, making a lamentation over the grave: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. More glorious than cherubim, more radiant than seraphim, born of God's uncreated Word, we magnify Thee, O Theotokos. Likewise: Glory, and now: Lord, have mercy thrice. Blessed be Thou. Pray for us with the holy fathers, where Thou dost rest, O Mother of God, have mercy on us, Amen. Your eternal memory, worthy fathers and brethren, ever in our thoughts. Three times.

O Soul [and Life], in the depths Thou hast been placed, and memory of Thee in the womb and womb. Holy be Thou, holy strong, holy immortal, have mercy on us. [Three times.]

Chin' litii i oblisoaposopшихъ, áще něstě sščénnika ŭ nedě́li nóvyâ i do ŭddani prázdnika páschi.

O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, for Thy precious and holy name's sake, and for the names of all Thy saints, have mercy upon us. Amen.

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and on those in the tombs bestowing life. [Three times.]

And now, O Soul, a troparion, tone 1:

Grant, O Lord, to Thy servant (my) heart the knowledge of Thy commandments,
That I may keep them and not commit iniquity;
For Thou art my hope from my youth.
Grant me understanding, that I may know Thee and Thy power,
And be filled with Thy Spirit, O Lord Most High.

With the spirits of the prophets who have fallen asleep, preserve the soul of Thy servant [or: servant of Thine], granting rest to him in the blessed life whereunto Thou lovest mankind. In Thy repose, O holy One, where all Thy saints are laid to rest, grant also rest to the soul of Thy servant [or: servant of Thine], for Thou alone art a lover of mankind. Glory: Thou didst descend into hell, and having loosed the bonds of the captives, Thou didst grant rest even to the soul of Thy servant [or: servant of Thine]. And now: One only is the undefiled gate, born without seed of God, pray that our souls may be saved.
