With the holy rest, O Lord, may the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine], where there is no sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life eternal, have peace. The Psalmist saith: Thou art alone, O Immortal, having created and formed man; from dust didst Thou create us, and into dust we shall go, as Thou didst command when Thou saidst to me: As thou art of the earth, so shalt thou return, yet may all men walk, making a lamentation over the grave: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. More glorious than cherubim, more radiant than seraphim, from the uncreated words born, O Theotokos, we magnify Thee. Therefore: Glory, and now: Lord, have mercy thrice. Blessed be Thou. Pray for us with the holy fathers who rest in Thee, O Mother of God, and have mercy on us, Amen. Your eternal memory, worthy fathers and brothers, ever remembered. Three times.
O Soul [and Life], in the depths Thou wilt be established, and the memory of Thee [and Thy life] in generation and in truth. Holy God, holy Strength, holy Immortality, have mercy on us. [Three times.]

Lord Jesus Christ, our God, for Thy precious and holy Name, and for all the saints, have mercy upon us. Amen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and on those in the tombs bestowing life. [Three times.]
And now, O Soul, a troparion, tone 6:
Grant, O Lord, to Thy servant (my) heart the knowledge of Thy commandments,
That I may keep them and not sin against Thee.
For Thou art my Life, O Lord, and my God;
Give me understanding that I may know Thee.
Through the intercessions of Thy Most Pure Mother and of Thy Angels,
Have mercy on us, O Lord.
Grant to us, O Lord, eternal life. Amen.
With the spirits of the prophets who have fallen asleep, preserve the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine], granting it rest in the blessed life where Thou lovest mankind. In Thy repose, O God, where all Thy saints repose, grant also the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine] rest, for Thou alone lovest mankind.
Glory: Thou didst descend into hell, and hast loosed them that were bound, and Thou hast granted rest to the soul of Thy servant [and: servant of Thine], having loved mankind. And now: One only and undefiled womb, bearing God without seed, pray for the salvation of souls.
