Бг҃оте́чнаѧ ѕвѣзда̀ ꙗ҆ви́лсѧ є҆сѝ, наставлѧ́ѧ по мо́рю пла́вающихъ лю́тѣ, и҆̀мже сме́рть предстоѧ́ше вско́рѣ и҆ногда̀, а҆́ще не бы̀ ты̀ предста́лъ є҆сѝ призыва́ющымъ тѧ̀ въ по́мощь, чꙋдотво́рче ст҃ы́й нїко́лае: ѹ҆же́ бо несты́днѡ бѣсѡ́мъ лета́ющымъ, и҆ погрꙋзи́ти кораблѝ хотѧ́щымъ запрети́въ, ѿгна́лъ є҆сѝ и҆̀хъ, вѣ̑рныѧ же наꙋчи́лъ є҆сѝ сп҃са́ющемꙋ тобо́ю бг҃ꙋ взыва́ти: Ґллилꙋ́їа.
Blessed Star shone, guiding those who were drowning in fierce peril; and even as death stood near suddenly before thee, if thou hadst not appeared to call upon Thee for help, O Wonderworker Nicholas: for Thou didst not hesitate to let loose the winds on the ungodly, desiring to sink the ships, while Thou taughtest them who were faithful to cry unto Thee with confidence: Glory be to Thee.
