Бг҃оте́чнꙋю ѕвѣздꙋ̀ ѹ҆зрѣ́вше волсвѝ, тоѧ̀ послѣ́доваша зарѝ: и҆ ꙗ҆́кѡ свѣти́льникъ держа́ще ю҆̀, то́ю и҆спыта́хꙋ крѣ́пкаго царѧ̀, и҆ дости́гше непостижи́магѡ, возра́довашасѧ є҆мꙋ̀, вопїю́ще: Ґллилꙋ́їа.
When the holy Theotokos saw the bright star in the heavens, she followed it: and as a light-bearer holding it, she tested the strong king thereof, and having reached that which cannot be fathomed, rejoiced with her, crying out: Gloria.
