You appeared as a God-bright star in the sky to the church, most glorious Father Silouan, shining with virtues like rays of light, driving away the darkness of despondency and despair with the power of prayer and casting down evil spirits by the grace of God. Because you have washed your soul with great tears, you have received from above the grace to intercede for all people, crying: Lord, send your mercy to the children of the earth, whom you love, and give to them all understand your love and know your glory through the Holy Spirit. and now, standing before the throne of God, like Father Silouan, give us consolation in our sorrows, may the sad hearts of people be warmed with joy and may they know the love of God by singing to him song: alleluia.
