Seeing you, the blessed Virgin Mary is perishing in sin, has mercy on you and with a quiet voice of love calls you to repentance. But you, Holy Father, knowing in spirit the Mother of the Lord God, never forgot this wondrous visit and the gentle words of God to the Mother. Moreover, having left the path leading to destruction, having washed away the sins of your youth with tears of repentance, in contrition of heart you resorted to the Life-Giver Christ, singing to him in tenderness: Alleluia.
