Yirmos: As thou wast journeying through the wilderness, O Jesus Christ, on foot, with bare feet, thou didst drive Pharaoh, seeing him overwhelmed by the flood, and didst take up the victorious song of victory, crying out.
Припѣ́въ: Поми́лꙋй мѧ̀, бж҃е, поми́лꙋй мѧ̀.
Refrain: Have mercy on me, O Lord, have mercy on me.
Ны́нѣ пристꙋпи́хъ а҆́зъ грѣ́шный и҆ ѡ҆бремене́нный къ тебѣ̀ влⷣцѣ и҆ бг҃ꙋ моемꙋ̀: не смѣ́ю же взира́ти на нб҃о, то́кмѡ молю́сѧ, глаго́лѧ: да́ждь мѝ гдⷭ҇и ѹ҆́мъ, да пла́чꙋсѧ дѣ́лъ мои́хъ го́рькѡ.
Now I, the sinful and burdened, have approached Thee, O Master and God Mine: I dare not lift up mine eyes to heaven, but pray, saying: Give me, O Lord, compunction of heart, that I may weep for my bitter deeds.

Ѽ го́ре мнѣ̀ грѣ́шномꙋ! па́че всѣ́хъ человѣ̑къ ѻ҆каѧ́ненъ є҆́смь: покаѧ́нїѧ нѣ́сть во мнѣ̀: да́ждь мѝ гдⷭ҇и сле́зы, да пла́чꙋсѧ дѣ́лъ мои́хъ го́рькѡ.
Alas for me, sinful! More than all men I am reproached: there is no repentance in me: give me, O Lord, tears that I may weep over my deeds bitter.

Безꙋ́мне ѻ҆каѧ́нне человѣ́че, въ лѣ́ности вре́мѧ гꙋби́ши: помы́сли житїѐ твоѐ, и҆ ѡ҆брати́сѧ ко гдⷭ҇ꙋ бг҃ꙋ, и҆ пла́чисѧ ѡ҆ дѣ́лѣхъ твои́хъ го́рькѡ.
Unwise is the human heart in its lethargy; thou wastenest thy life: think upon thine own life, and turn unto the Lord God, and weep for thy deeds bitterly.

Mtachi bogu pravilnogo, vozrizi na mja grěšnago, i o sěti diavoli izbavi mja, i na put pokayanija nastavi mja, da plachusja dela moih gorycka.

And there is a canon to the throne of the Theotokos, composed by a monk. Tone I.

By many trials we are surrounded; to Thee, O Saviour, we flee for help: from mountains and rocks, from heavy and bitter things, save us.

Страсте́й мѧ̀ смꙋща́ютъ прило́зи, мно́гагѡ ѹ҆ны́нїѧ и҆спо́лнити мою̀ дꙋ́шꙋ: ѹ҆мирѝ ѻ҆трокови́це, тишино́ю сн҃а и҆ бг҃а твоегѡ̀, всенепоро́чнаѧ.
By the sufferings of Thy Cross Thou dost constrain my soul, O Lord, to fulfill its desire: quench the fires of youth, by silence and by Thy God, pure and holy.

Spása rozhshhuju teya i boga, molyu dvo, izbavitissya mii lutikh: k tebe bo nyne pribegayu, prystariyu i dušu i pomyslennye.

Недꙋ́гꙋюща тѣ́ломъ и҆ дꙋше́ю, посѣще́нїѧ бжⷭ҇твеннагѡ и҆ промышле́нїѧ ѿ тебє̀ сподо́би, є҆ди́на бг҃омт҃и, ꙗ҆́кѡ бл҃га́ѧ, бл҃га́гѡ же роди́тельница.
Unsick in body and soul, having been visited by the Holy Theotokos and filled with her thought, alone hast Thou come to God, as a blessed one, O blessed Mother of bliss.

And I, an angel guardian, voice and glory.

Vespers to Jesus:
O Lord Jesus Christ, my Light, have mercy on me.
Пѣ́снь воспѣ́ти и҆ восхвали́ти, сп҃се, твоего̀ раба̀ досто́йнѡ сподо́би, безпло́тномꙋ а҆́гг҃лꙋ, наста́вникꙋ и҆ храни́телю моемꙋ̀.
To sing a hymn and to praise Thee, O Lord, Thy servant deems himself worthy, an unworthy angel, my instructor and guardian.
Припѣ́въ: Ст҃ы́й а҆́гг҃ле бж҃їй, храни́телю мо́й, молѝ бг҃а ѡ҆ мнѣ̀.
Vespers: Holy Angel, my Guardian, pray for me to God.
Є҆ди́нъ а҆́зъ въ неразꙋ́мїи и҆ въ лѣ́ности ны́нѣ лежꙋ̀, наста́вниче мо́й и҆ храни́телю, не ѡ҆ста́ви менє̀ погиба́юща.
Thou alone, my Guide and Guardian in foolishness and idleness now, do not abandon me perishing.
Сла́ва ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ и҆ сн҃ꙋ и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ.
Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
Ќмъ мо́й твое́ю мл҃твою напра́ви, твори́ти мѝ бж҃їѧ повелѣ̑нїѧ, да полꙋчꙋ̀ ѿ бг҃а ѿда́нїе грѣхѡ́въ, и҆ ненави́дѣти мѝ ѕлы́хъ наста́ви мѧ̀, молю́сѧ тѝ.
By Thine holy prayer, direct me, O Lord, to fulfill Thy commandments, that I may receive forgiveness of sins from God, and instruct me not to hear evil tidings, but to hate them, beseeching Thee.
И҆ ны́нѣ и҆ при́снѡ и҆ во вѣ́ки вѣкѡ́въ. Ґми́нь.
And now and for ever and ever. Amen.
Моли́сѧ дв҃и́це ѡ҆ мнѣ̀ рабѣ̀ твое́мъ ко бл҃года́телю, со храни́телемъ мои́мъ а҆́гг҃ломъ, и҆ наста́ви мѧ̀ твори́ти за́пѡвѣди сн҃а твоегѡ̀, и҆ творца̀ моегѡ̀.
Blessed be the Theotokos, pray for me, Thy handmaid, unto the Beneficent One, with my guardian angel, and guide me to fulfill Thy commandments and those of my Creator.
