You, who were once chosen by God from the font of Holy Baptism, were quickly adorned with the crown of Christ’s suffering: you received His life in His wondrous death in infancy. We pray to you, for holiness: just as nature once showed the right path to a hunter who lost his way in the thicket of trees and granted healing to a sick monk, so too will we, painfully possessed by the wounds of passions, be delivered from all evil. Hear the bitter cry of fathers and mothers, weak babies, to the honorable race of your relics, hasten to help, ease the sorrows of their hearts, heal bodily ailments, together with spiritual ones, and awaken the wall firm and strong help to all who ask for your intercession.
Preserve your holy church from every evil situation: through your intercession, send down peace from the Lord of glory to the inhabitants of this world; grant us the abundance of the fruits of the earth and prosperity in our labors: after the death of the Kingdom of Heaven, grant all your help to those who call upon you, where all the righteous, together with you, praise the most honorable and magnificent name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
