In your patience, O Holy One of God,/ you received reward from the Lord/ and you reaped the field of heavenly food,/ you exhausted your body with sleepless vigil and foolishness/ and through wisdom you saved your soul,/ you neglected the earthly life,/ but you desired to see the Heavenly Kingdom,/ and you were vouchsafed to see the Heavenly King,/ and to that bowed to you./ We, your unworthy servants, fall tenderly to your tomb/ and with a contrite heart looking at the image of your icon, we cry out to you:/ O wonderful Procopius,/ Be an intercessor and a prayer-book to the Lord for your servants/ and an intercessor for our city/ in the days of sorrows/ and pray to the Lord for the salvation of our souls.
