During the celebration of the proskomedia in the altar, hours three and six are read on the choir, consisting of some psalms prophesied about the Savior, and prayers to the Savior, the Mother of God and the saint of that day.

Who is worshiped and glorified at all times and at every hour in heaven and on earth, Christ God, long-suffering, much-merciful, most gracious, who loves the righteous and has mercy on sinners, who calls everyone to salvation, promises for the sake of future blessings: Himself, Lord, accept ours at the hour of this prayer, and correct our life to the commandment By Yours, sanctify our souls, cleanse our bodies, correct our thoughts, cleanse our thoughts: and deliver us from all sorrow, evil and disease: protect us with Your saints Angels, so that by guarding and instructing them, we may reach the unity of faith and the mind of Your unapproachable glory: for blessed art Thou unto the ages of ages.
