I believe in one God, Father, Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all the ages; light from light, true God from true God, begotten not created, of the same Father, by whom all things were made. Him for us men and for our salvation who came down from the heavens and was incarnated by the Holy Spirit and Mary the Virgin and became human. Crucified for us on Pontius Pilate, and suffered and buried. And he rose on the third day according to the Scriptures. And having ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of the Father. And coming again after glory, he judges the living and the dead, to whose kingdom there is no end. And to the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, the one proceeding from the Father, the one worshiped and glorified together with the Father and the Son, they sang it through the prophets.
In one, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I confess a baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I expect a resurrection of the dead. And life of the coming age. Amen.
It is worthy that they truly bless the Theotokos, the bloodless and unblemished and mother of our God. The most honorable of the Cherubim and the most glorious incomparably of the Seraphim, the incorruptible God Logon they worshiped, the truly Theotokos, we magnify.
