Grant peace to the world, O Lord, from east to west, as by nature it came, having humbled itself even unto death: therefore exalted Thou Thy Name above every name, and from all knees of heaven and earth dost hear: Glory.

O Master, Jesus Christ, our God, who didst deign to take upon Thee the lowly flesh for the sake of Thy wondrous love to man, and wast born in a manger from the pure Virgin: we glorify Thee, O Lord, for Thou hast revealed Thy saving counsel to Thy servants; we praise Thee, because for our sakes Thou didst come into this world in the likeness of sinful flesh; we honor Thee, O Most Pure Mother of God, who served such a fearful mystery; we extol Thy angelic beauty, as hymn-singers and ministers of Thy majesty; we comfort Thee, O John, who baptized Thee: we venerate and proclaim those prophets who foretold Thee; we glorify Thy apostles; we rejoice with the martyrs, and honor Thy venerable ones, and we praise all Thy saints. Thus, bringing to Thee, O Lord, our most heartfelt prayers, we beseech Thee for forgiveness of our sins, more abundantly than Thou hast shown Thy great mercies: for Thou art blessed unto the ages.
