Sing ye to God, our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

Blow ye the trumpet, O psalmist, and give a psalterion with the kithara.

Blow the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

This is a commandment to Israel and a judgment to God Jacob.

He set him over all the land of Egypt, in the tongue which he knew not, he heard.

Thou didst stretch out thy hand from the womb, and thy hands were made strong in the midst of the tumult.

Hear, O my people, and I will bear witness to thee: O Israel, if thou wilt give ear unto me.

Hearken, O people of my flock, and bear witness to me, Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me.

‹. There shall not be in thee a new god; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

But I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, widening your mouth and filling it.

And the people did not hearken to my voice, nor did Israel regard me.

And I sent them according to the desires of their hearts; they would walk in their own desires.

If my people had listened to me, Israel had walked in my ways:

I have not submitted to my enemies, nor laid my hand upon those who oppress them.

The enemies of the Lord have lied to Him, and their time shall be for an age.

And He fed them with cakes of oil and honey from the rock satisfied them.
Glory:
