God hath also shown unto the sons of men, both that they are able to understand and that they seek God.

Lord, all these inclinations together have been useless: there is none making good, nor one unto the only One.

A. Neither do all who do unrighteous deeds and feed men's flesh in the bread of their own teeth understand, O Lord, for Thou hast not called them.

There in the fear ye shall be made afraid, and where there is no fear: for God doth scatter the bones of the godly; ye shall be ashamed, for God destroyeth them.

O Lord, who givest from the treasury of salvation; when Thou shalt return Thy captivity to Thine own people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad.
