I receive your visit, O Lord, in my soul in the midst of sins and I rejoice: for You have come as a bridegroom out of His youth, and You have caught me; and You have healed me.
Praise be to Thee, God, and the Holy Spirit.
My life is shame before Thee, O Lord, and I have been defiled with the unclean, as the unclean are called: cleanse me from sin, Thou who didst call me clean, who dost not cast out one whom Thou hast saved, nor those who are barren for Thy works' sake.
And today and evermore for ever and ages to come. Amen.
To the Theotokos, today in humility we lie prostrate, sinful and humble, and we beseech her with compunction from deep within our soul: Lady, have mercy upon us, as Thou hast pitied us; for we are about to perish in the multitude of our sins, not being able to escape Thy servant's wrath, for Thou art alone our hope and savior. Have mercy, O Lord, hear our prayer.
Therefore, come, we worship Thee, O Church of ours, [Prayer.]
Come, we bow down and worship Thee, O Christ our God, the true Light. [Prayer.]
Come, we bow down and worship Him, the Only Begotten of God, our Lord. [Prayer.]
