I receive your visit, O Lord, in my soul, in the midst of sins and I rejoice: who by the image of a harlot received me, save me.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
My life is shame before You, O Lord, and I have been joined with adulteresses, yet You call me a compunctionate one: Come to the heavenly One, who has sinned, cleanse and save me, and do not cast me out, the one whom You have forsaken, nor those who are barren rejoicing in their children.
And today and evermore for ever and the ages to come. Amen.
To the Theotokos, humble and sinful one, we lie prostrate today in contrition, calling out from the depths of our soul: Lady, have mercy on us, as You were merciful to us when we called upon You from the multitude of sins, not turning away Your servant who has hope only in You, for You are the One Hope and Trust. Have mercy upon us, O Lord.
Therefore, come, we worship Thee, O Church of ours, [Prayer.]
Come, we bow down and worship Thee, O Christ our God, the true Light. [Prayer.]
Come, we bow down and fall at Thy feet, O Christ our Paschal, King of heaven and earth. [Prayer.]
