From your youth you fixed your mind on God, Blessed Euphrosyne, but you rejected the world and settled in the impenetrable desert, and there we are strengthened by the Lord, you lived valiantly in prayers and fasting, and you ended your life in suffering by murder from the sons of disobedience: for this reason you were married to the saints and martyrs, and with them even now stand before the throne of the Most Holy Trinity.
