Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, hear our earnest prayer! We, like children from you, still exist, listening to the ancient passion-bearers, and thought in our hearts how kindly and praiseworthy it is to imitate such, Neither torment nor death can separate them from the love of God. It is good for you, for you have followed the nature of the faith and patience of those, and since at all times it is possible that we may experience this unexpected trial, ask the Lord for courage for us a gift that is so useful in human life. Having sanctified all the ends of our Fatherland through your suffering, as is common to all our prayer books, beg God to deliver our Fatherland from the yoke, more terrible than any other. And may we and our entire race be forgiven the sin that burdens the Russian people: the murder of the Tsar, the anointed of God, the saints and shepherds with their flock, and the suffering of confessors, and desecration our shrines.
May the schisms in our Church be abolished, may they all be united, and may the Lord bring His workers to the harvest, may the Church not become destitute of good shepherds who have the power to enlighten By the light of the true faith there are so many people who have not been taught the faith or have turned away from the faith. You are unworthy of God’s mercy, even if you suffer for your sake, may Christ our God be merciful and have mercy on all of us who call for your help. Let us always offer Him, our Savior, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, contrition for sins and thanksgiving for everything, glorifying Him forever and ever. Amen.
